After calling to have this unit fixed AGAIN I have been informed that although your receipt says NEW the Serial number says this shredder is Refurbished. And is out of warranty!!

This machine worked very well until it didn't. 3 1/2 years (warranty is 3) and it no longer would accept or shred anything. For that amount of money, I am very disappointed.

The shredder works good. I do wish the paper did not have to be pushed down in the waste bin every couple of minutes. It stops when it thinks the waste bin is full. You have to open the door of the shredder and push the shredded pieces down towards the bottom of the bin to make room for more shredded pieces.

We recycle paper for packing material, so a good shredder is a necessity. We haven't found a down side to this one yet! It's fast, powerful, and not as noisy as the little desk model we've been using. Also takes way more sheets and will shred old file folders, etc. without a hiccup. Probably the best time saving investment we've made all year. We were fortunate enough to catch it on sale, too!
