Item condition was listed as "New". Item was NOT new. there were visible scratch marks on the surface indicative of it being loaded in and out of a drive cage with adjacent drives. The GPN sticker was also yellowed. This may have been a factor of either light, heat and/or time. I have not loaded the drive into my server yet, so i cannot speak to its functionality. I will update later if there are any other surprises
