I decided to switch my laptop HDD to SSD. Although my laptop was fitted with a 1GB drive, only 200GB was used. Cloning from 1GB to 500GB seemed to be a hurdle for the WD Acronis software! I couldn't be bothered to tinker with Acronis and used the free version of Disk Genius instead. This did the job without a hiccup! As a result, my laptop boots fully to the desktop in 21 seconds! I also have an external 1GB drive using the old laptop drive. Next on my list is to do the same to my office computer!
