LG SC9S soundbar

This soundbar was purchased to go with the LG OLED TV we have (that TV wouldn't connect to the Bose soundbar). This soundbar was recommended for this TV; however, it seldom connects, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes to connect (when it will); it will NOT connect to the wifi...the bluetooth connection is echoey and the sound is awful. I wish I could take this thing into an open field and have at it with a baseball bat!!!

I bought this sound bar on the assumption I would be able to have surround sound. REAR SPEAKERS ARE NOT AVALIBLE. LG help desk was useless in trying to provide a resolution.

Hommasin laitteen LG C5 tv:n kumppaniksi, kun vanhasta pötkylästä loppui ominaisuudet. Laite on helppo asentaa ja mukana tuleva tv:n jalusta mahdollistaa yhdistelmän asentamisen seinälle ilman jälkiasennus virityksiä. Kun painelee kaukosäätimen säätönappuloita, niin laite puhuu mitä milloinkin olet tekemässä, tämä saattaa jakaa mielipiteitä, mutta nopeasti siihenkin tottuu. Säädöissä kannattaa antaa laitteen tehdä tilan "skannaus", näillä asetuksilla ainakin löytyi mukavat säädöt kerrostalon olohuoneeseen.

Great sound, looks sleek and modern, app is nice feature to adjust sound type depending on what you're watching. LG website says soundbar is a perfect pairing with my LG C4 TV and magic remote. It's not. After 2 lengthy trouble shooting sessions with LG was informed that the remote will only control the soundbar with optical cable connection not HDMI ARC connection. This was a noticeable downgrade in sound quality, so will pass and continue with 2 remotes unfortunately... Not sure I would have paid the premium for this soundbar knowing that!

Excellent sound upgrade, the sound bar integrates perfectly with our LG TV. We like the way the stand simoly replaces the current stand, making the tv and soundbar "one". It looks great. The sound is very good as well, with the preset settings quickly adjustable through the tv remote. The only real criticism is the literature (rather the lack of it) that goes with the soundbar. In terms of getting the best from this super bit of kit, we have found it difficult to know how to adjust the sound settings, or even work out if there ARE adjustable settings beyond the pre-sets. Can we fine tune the sound for our room, or adjust the individual speakers to our own preferences? We THINK we probably can, but its all a bit of a mystery when trying to find out HOW! Maybe we are being a bit daft but we know are not fools. The lack of clear and accessible signposts, and well written literature does not encourage the user to explore the obvious potential of this excellent piece of technology.
