I may not be the best person to review a soundbar. I am deaf. I wanted a set-up where I could pass the the sound from the soundbar through my hearing aids and the TV. After much research, I found that a toslink cable from the TV to the in port on my Oticon TV adaptor and another from the out port on the adaptor to the soundbar worked provided I had the remote for the soundbar set to TV (which is also optical). The sound in my hearing aids was somewhat tinny. I made sure that the power and toslink cables to the adaptor were kept apart to reduce any interference between them. I then set the remote to the music setting and reduced the bass which improved the sound quality for me. My wife was able to hear the sound from the TV satisfactorily for her. All in all, it worked out well in the end, but it was a steep learning curve.

Sounds very clear and bassy. Adding a whole new dimension to watching the news. When watching a programme or movie the depth of bass makes for a really enjoyable experience.

Polk Audio Signa S2 I bought this to improve the ssound on my Samsung TV which I bought two or three years ago from Richer Sounds. It has certainly improved the depth of the sound output, particularly the bass from the subwoofer. It connected easily through the HDMI socket. This is the latest in a long line of audio and video products I have bought from Richer Sounds over the last 45 years, starting with a 1980sTechnics twin deck cassette player a Marantz amplifier, a Sony TV and a Sony Blu ray player. I also have an LG HD recorder and a TEAC tuner from your firm. I bought one of my daughters a Cambridge amp and CD player and the other daughter some speakers. I certainly seem to have become a ‘customer for life’.|
