Great Speaker system, sound is great. Connectivity is good, solid Bluetooth. Minus a star because the remote is ir so you have to point it at the right speaker. To make the remote worse, it is unlit and round, so in the dark it is almost useless.

Great powered speakers for your desktop setup. Great overall sound balance and clear highs. This is a much better audio solution than most other competing products. I upgraded from the Logitech Z623 THX speakers that I used for 6 years. The Edifier is a significant improvement in audio quality.

Upgraded from a very old Logitech 2.1 system. Box was heavy. These are serious speakers. One immediate item I was confused about was the different connectors between the right and left speakers. Turns out the left speakers need a data channel as well, for controls, so it uses a 9-pin connector. The aesthetics are nice with a cherry wood grain exterior and uncovered front. Feels elegant and fancy. The speaker sound solid. I am mostly turning the volume down, not up, as they provide more power than I would ever need. Chinese built. Great for docking with hubs or docks that only do optical output.
