Dr. Hauschka Sage Mouthwash 300 ml

I tried a sample of this as I thought the texture of the earlier original one was lovely. This was awful. It felt like a clay mask on my face and I ended up washing it off as soon as I could. I did try it in the past but I had forgotten what it was like. Writing this review will help me not to try it again.

Love it! I have combo skin that is prone to breakouts on my cheeks. So there is the occasional red spot and acne scars to cover in that area. I also usually have problems achieving even foundation coverage on my nose. Somehow foundation never wanted to stick there, unless I used a lot, which then looked mask- like. Dr hauschkA foundation is the first foundation that properly works for me in that area, and I have tried so many products from drugstore to luxury and organic brands. I use 02 that is perfect for my summer skin. It does not dry right away, so I first put a light layer on my whole face, wait a few seconds, and then add more in spots where I need more coverage. This product layers really well. I hardly need concealer anymore. Plus it gives me a nice glow that is never oily. I will keep using this. My only wish is a lighter yellow based shade for winter as 01 is too pink for me.

Let me begin by stating I love this foundation, it replaced the old Translucent which I also loved. The first time I purchased this, I did not know that the formula had changed, I threw it out thinking something must have been wrong with it... $$$ down the drain! I later tried it again in the darkest color 05 which is perfect with 03 for highlight areas... and I am medium white skin toned. Day to day it can be great just on top of skin or moisturizer white foundation brush sweeps. If I have something to dress up for, I layer moisturizer with Dr Hauschka tinted day cream and then use Dr Hauschka Foundation before adding color to eyes and cheeks... wow! For those who think Dr Hauschka tinted day cream is too shiny, try this on top of it as it "matts" it out a bit.

I am disappointed with the new formulation. I just thought it was a new packaging but this foundation is a different colour, smells sweetly sickly not divine like it's forerunner. It feels quite sticky to touch once it's on since it does not absorb. Bring back translucent foundation!

I've used the Translucent Makeup for a very long time and have liked it a lot. I can't understand why Dr. Hauschka has chosen to replace it with this. They could have kept both! This is a total disaster for my skin. Firstly, the lightest shade is too dark for me even in Summer. Secondly, this contains coconut oil which makes my face break out in large, painful cysts. Thirdly, the finish of this one is inferior to the Translucent Makeup, because this one cakes and settles into pores and fine lines I didn't even know I had. It never gives me that gorgeous, my-skin-but-better look that Translucent Makeup did, and which somehow managed to conceal flaws without making you look like you were wearing makeup at all. This looks like foundation on. Period. I'm very disappointed with Dr. Hauschka and I hope they'll see sense and bring Translucent back.
