Good advice from the salesperson. As for the equipment, it's quite sophisticated to install , both in terms of wiring and software. How to configure backups, RAID level, etc. Some self-help is welcome, but I didn't find what I was looking for in the Qnap tutorials; they are too advanced and not practical enough for a user like me. It should be: what do you want to do? What do you want to back up? How accessible do you want it to be? And then, hey presto, the settings are done! The dream! Well, after a few laborious hours, it works.

Excellent NAS! Quick and easy to get to grips with! All the HDDs are recognised on the 1st try and the RAID is created according to your choice.

About the product: It fulfils its functions perfectly, which are (in my case): - SAMBA file sharing server (windows sharing) - time machine server (apple backup) - multimedia server (plex) Concerning delivery: The delivery man didn't show up (even though it was indicated in the tracking) and the package was delivered at the other end of town. This is the last order I made with LDLC.com

Thank you for the very fast delivery in the DOM (something rare enough to be mentioned). This QNAP is a delight to use. It has a lot of features for all users. NICKEL transfer rate for a home network. I highly recommend it.
