Seagate IronWolf 8TB ST8000VN004 on suosittu luotettavuutensa ja suuren tallennustilansa ansiosta, erityisesti NAS-käyttäjille, jotka tarvitsevat 24/7 suorituskykyä. Levy on helppo asentaa ja tunnistuu heti useimmissa NAS-järjestelmissä. Monet käyttäjät kehuvat hinta-laatusuhdetta ja raportoivat vähän vikoja pitkäaikaisessa käytössä. Kaksi tällaista on tätä kirjoittaessani olleet käynnissä yhteen menoon 701 päivää ja 17 tuntia ilman mitään häiriöitä tai huoltotoimenpiteitä QNAP TS464 NAS:ssa kahden Samsungin SSD 870 4 TB:n rinnalla. Nyt juuri on käynnissä NAS:n peilaus pilveen: rutina on melkoinen, mutta työpöydän alle asennettuna ei häiritse.

Hyvä ostos, levy on nopea editointi käytössä. Hieman äänekäs, mutta ei haittaa.

Bought to replace 2x 1TB drives in an Unraid array. Used one for parity and another for storage. Working as expected...they store stuff!

I purchased 2 of these for a RAID 1 array in a Buffalo NAS I use in my home for data storage. I had used another brand's NAS drives before, and they had been good and lasted years, but they had simply been outgrown. These Ironwolf drives not only replaced the old ones, doubling the NAS capacity on this RAID array, but they formatted faster and the frequency of the automatic maintenance of the Buffalo device has reduced. They are only a few months old, but so far - Very Good!
