Synology RS822RP+ on luotettava 1U-räkkipalvelin, jossa on redundantti virtalähde – ihanteellinen pienille ja keskisuurille yrityksille, jotka tarvitsevat jatkuvuutta. Järjestelmässä on neljä 1GbE LAN-porttia Link Aggregationilla ja ECC-muisti lisää tietoturvaa. Tallennuskapasiteetti on laajennettavissa 8 levyyn, mikä tuo joustavuutta kasvuun. Haittoja ovat rajallinen oletusmuisti (2GB), sisäänrakennettujen M.2 NVMe-paikkojen puute SSD-välimuistille ja vain gigabitin verkkoliitännät ilman nopeampia vaihtoehtoja. Myös melutaso on suhteellisen korkea. Maksimaalista suorituskykyä ja hiljaisuutta hakevien kannattaa harkita laajennuksia tai vaihtoehtoja.

Home use; this is my 3rd synology. I have no complaints about DSM and their services in general. Easy to install and manage.format: in a rack, it's better, especially as it fits in a small bay; as I have a patch bay (600 prof) it fits perfectly with switches and patching.power: as I gain in power and volume compared to the other synos, I obviously have nothing to say. I've got 4 x 4TB IronWolf, so there's still some potential for SSD cache and volume expansion.
