Synology DS224+ on kompakti ja hiljainen NAS, jossa on vahva käyttöjärjestelmä ja paljon sovelluksia, ihanteellinen pienyrityksille ja kotikäyttäjille. Kaksi Gigabit LAN -porttia mahdollistaa link aggregationin, mutta nopeampi 2.5GbE puuttuu. Suorituskyky riittää varmuuskopiointiin, mediatoistoon ja toimistotyöhön, mutta prosessoripäivitys on vähäinen aiempiin Plus-malleihin verrattuna. Enintään 2 levyä ja 6GB RAM rajoittavat laajennettavuutta. Luotettavaa ja helppokäyttöistä NAS:ia etsivälle hyvä valinta, mutta enemmän nopeutta tai laajennusta tarvitsevan kannattaa katsoa muita vaihtoehtoja.

Works great with Plex Server, great software and easy to load and work with. Has dual 1G Lan Ports, but no WIFI.

Upgraded from old Synology DS218play to improve Plex server. It was painless - just moved 2 hard drives and followed easy DSM directions. Plex server performance has noticeably improved.

I got so tired of my phone always being full to the point I had to delete pictures I really wanted. The photo app allows me to move them all off my phone and still access them when out. I also run a media server from it which is awesome. Moved all my videos and music to it now I can even run my iTunes from it
