Sharp straight out of the box. Handy size for those solo camping trips and easy to store. Good size, great brand.

Handy little knife for outdoor or even at home. Nice to hold and cut when preparing food or use it as Utensil.

I have the original opinel knife for hiking and love it, therefore why I purchased this one for car camping/4wding. However, after only one use, I struggle to open and close the blade, it is incredibly stiff. Super sharp blade, just very difficult to open/close.

I am a fan of Opinel knives. I use them for whittling wood. I reshape the blade to suit carving. Top quality steel that keeps it’s edge even when carving mulga - which is very hard wood. I also have a slim stainless Opinel which is a pleasure to use !!
