Only had a month, blends well, quieter than the old one. We had a previous model from KirchenAid. AI nown point of weakness is that the jugs seal at the base leaks and oil spits out. But that hasnt happened with this one its new so I wont knock it on it.

kitchen Aid excellent design the jug is plastic light weight instead of glass. Easy cleaning no seperate blending blades to clean attached to the jug. 3 speeds 1 pulse. Blender can chop ice in 15 seconds. The base base is secure does not move when using KitchenAid. Blends examples: carrot and apple to make a juice add ice if you want. Blend banana milk with porridge oats excellent. Chop vegetables any put in blender plus stock blend soup done ASAP then can heat up on the stove or microwave. Left in fridge to cook later. Banana ice cream frozen banana milk Ice blend up put in the freezer. You can only use warm liquids never hot. Pulse button to chop vegetable or 1 2 3 speeds. Highly recommend.
