Big Agnes Copper Spur UL1 on suosittu valinta yksin retkeileville keveytensä ja kompaktin kokonsa ansiosta. Teltassa on yllättävän paljon tilaa jyrkkien seinien ansiosta, ja ilmanvaihto on erinomainen. Pystytys on nopeaa ja helppoa, ja sisätaskut ovat käytännöllisiä. Teltta on kuitenkin kallis ja kevyet materiaalit vaativat varovaisuutta, erityisesti epätasaisessa maastossa tai pitkäaikaisessa käytössä. Sisäteltan pystytys ensin voi olla hankalaa sateella. Kaiken kaikkiaan laadukas ja mukava teltta kevyttä ja mukavuutta arvostaville, mutta hinta ja herkkyys on huomioitava.

Main use over last 15 or so years (20 approx trips) are short breaks from London of 2 to 4 nights or longer trips eh Scilly Isles (UK), Ile d'Ouessant (France) and most recently Sardinia (Italy). All by train, bus, boat and foot. Once at the site quick and easy to set up home. Time to review as maybe last trip having reached 80.

It’s smaller (and much lighter!)than my 2 person tent, but it still has a surprising amount of room. The pockets, especially the big one, ensure that the floor space of my tent isn’t needed for storage, and the geometry ensures I never feel cramped.

This is the second Copper Spur UL1 I have owned. I love that it is free standing. I’ve squeezed into so many tent sites that trekking pole tents can’t. The durability on this tent has been one of my favorite things.

Great tent! Used it on the Vermont Long Trail and on the New England Trail. Super lightweight, relatively easy setup…my only complaint is the footprint, it could be a little thicker like tyvek wrap. Happy with it so far.

We had a windy day in the plains of Colorado, my Big Agnes was destroyed. Big Agnes wouldn't replace parts without a fee even though I had just purchased it. I was glad I was not backpacking.
