Runs fine but for novice system builders, figuring out the push/pull direction of the fan needs some explanation. When you're facing north and you get the product out and the fan is facing you, the convex orientation of the fan fins toward you mean that the air is getting pushed/pulled north. Minus one star due to the missing mount springs issue.

Bought 2 of these for a Dual X5 system. No complaints at all, both CPUs under 50C at all times and not a lot of noise.

- Newegg's specifications need updating. This is the compatibility from Noctua's website: - Intel LGA2011-0 & LGA2011-3 (Square ILM & Narrow ILM), LGA1356, LGA1366 (wtih Xeon backplate) - Running 2 of these on a Dual Xeon socket 2011-3 motherboard with no issues.

I didn't have to look too far to decide on which cooler to get for my Xeon E5-1650. I've bought Noctua coolers for years, the price has always been eye-watering, but for the money, you get over-engineered Austrian supreme Heatsink & fans that are winners in everything they've ever been entered in, matching or sometimes besting watercooling. I have this cooler, and also bolted on another NF-F12, "just because I can", so now its super quiet, super cool, and so very OBVIOUS (visually) Noctua! I love their colour scheme, its something you need to only glimpse, and you're guaranteed that that colour scheme means Noctua, and Noctua means business at any speed/voltage <3

This is a top quality unit, the best I have used. Keeps fully loaded 12 threads running average 64C all day with X5680 CPU's.
