Cooler fitted into the space on the board ok, it was extremely close to the memory sticks but should be ok for most installations. Cooler was defective ( fan did not spin) so was replaced by the stock Intel cooler which is working well. Scan DMR system works well. I will replace the stock cooler at some point in the future when I can work up the enthusiasm to strip the main board out of the small case computer to put the fan support bracket under it. I may use another identical cooler as there are not many choices that will fit on my board and are low profile and will handle the wattage. Cooler appears to be well constructed.

nothing special about this, slightly hotter then expected but could be subject to low profile.

Two stars because of the price and the rattling sound. So far with this heat sink I maxed my Intel CPU temps at 85C while gaming playing GTA 5 maxed settings. It works, but if you are picky about temperature and that annoying rattling sound, best to buy something else.

Well it is thin but that's it. It fouls against components (have to bend pipes and fins to stop this) CPU power connector is really tight. Over laps both 1st slot memory slot and PCI e slot. The connectors are extremely poor even though they are copies of standard heat sink (suggest removing and bolting) Also its quite loud requires resistor to make as quiet as standard cooler.

In my opinion this is a well built heat sink & fan. UN-like the stock one that came with my Intel chip; that just snaps on the motherboard with plastic clips. This has a back plate for extra strength and support with threaded metal screws with springs. Very Nice.
