I see no reason why my system would need this much cooling. Bigger is not necessarily better. This was clearly designed for the novice user despite its drawbacks. The day my CPU needs a heat exchanger this large is the day I buy a new CPU.

If you really want to use this cooler, use the backplate that came with the motherboard instead of the garbage from Zalman, buy longer screws to install the cooler, and install the whole thing backwards if you have space issues with your memory. Also, learn the RMA process before buying.

I bought this for a small project, to run a single cable into a wall cavity. I wouldn't want to use a manual punch tool to wire an entire large installation, but for a small job, it's a good tool.

Tool actually works the way it was designed to. This is Not a flimsy quick tool actually willl help save time doing the wiring.

I had to mount the fan up a few fins to get it to clear all my ram. Look at the thing before installing it has along side and a short side. Mount the short towards your ram and it will work just fine.
