The hinges started to get loose and broke after a year of normal use. The trackpad also stopped working after a few months. Overall, the performance was good for the price, but the quality of the product isn't great.

Used the laptop for less than 2yrs and one day the left hinge snapped out of nowhere and in the process the the screen broke.. Of course, after using it like that for a couple of weeks something else disconnected and now the display doesn't work. I basically can't use the laptop now. Spent over $1400 on it and now have to buy a new laptop. ASUS support was useless and told me I have to pay fees for diagnostic testing and then fees for shipping and repair of course. I was a huge fan of ASUS before (always bought their products) but after this experience and horrible customer support I will never buy ASUS again - product is unreliable and support poor.

DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP it's got really bad hardware and ASUS knows it. I've had this laptop for a little over a year now and have stopped using to for just about everything because within the 1 year window: -The Camera stopped working because it was so insecure that windows 10 updates rendered it useless. There are no ASUS updates, the warehouse replaced it under warranty and the next update took it offline too - the OS is a baked in version that's provided by ASUS, the bios prevents you from booting to USB (unless it's the ASUS recovery media) so you can't rebuild it to roll back to fix issues - That ASUS version of WIndows is poorly built so now when it goes to sleep, you have to unplug it,and hard boot it to get it to wake back up. I'd fix it but haha, I can't reload windows on it outside the factory.

This is a great computer but do not leave it on the bed charging as it will get extremely hot!

After just a few days , the computer just did not power up again. I send it for service work for a few days and then never work again. Since I live outside the USA an my country ( Venezuela) does not have an Asus service center it was difficult for me to have the computer traveling for the repair. Due to the pandemic I was not able to send the computer before the warranty expired. The second time The check the computer they were not able to repair it. After explaining all this the offer me a new computer for a higher price of what I paid from mine! The computer was defective from day one ! they have the opportunity to properly repair it and they got it wrong! wont be buying from Asus Again!
