Bought this as a direct replacement to my last Canon printer. Does everything I need and saves me loads of time. Ordering went very well and printer arrived ahead of schedule.

This printer is useless. It jams almost every time I use it and I am constantly having to clean the head. Definitely not fit for purpose. Strongly recommend that you do not buy this, I am about to throw mine in the skip.

Do not use compatible cartridges with this printer. They are not recognised and lock the printer up. thiscannot be reset by user! The very pleasant lady at canon support centre advised me that to get the thing working again would require an engineer repair, for which I needed to phone another number (not open weekends) and am now faced with sending the printer to Woking. Not a good experience of the product design nor support arrangements. Sort of puts me off buying any other canon product from now.
