I have been very disappointed with this printer. I thought for this price I'd get a reliable network printer for my linux boxes, but alas it needs to be rebooted almost every time I send it a print job, from any computer on the network. I have tried wireless and wired modes of network printing, but it almost always requires a reboot before it answers a netowrk request. It also can't print a decent quality photo, but for me that is a distant secondary concern.

I used it for home office… it was the best of my printing experience the last 3 years… i paid around $700… now the price go up more than doubled. Now, the printer will not print, will not copy. Restarted. Power off. Restored. But will not working anymore, customer care are worst.

I've had the printer for years. The machine is fine but HP requires you to use their proprietary ink cartridges, disabling the use of refilled or 3rd party cartridges. Hundreds of dollars and several hours wasted trying to find work-arounds. Buying from HP will create a headache for you.

I really like the printer with all of its functionalities and features. However, the one thing I absolutely hate is the firmware security feature that HP puts on the printer to prevent the use of third-party ink cartridges. I tried to contact the support team, but they were of no help. I will not spend $150 per ink cartridge, and this printer requires four of them. So, I have decided to switch over to Brothers.

I bought this printer awhile back & it worked great then it all of a sudden wouldn’t print on the left side. We’ve tried doing several different things & calling customer service. Super sad!
