This device is incredible. Double sided PDF files in 1 second per page? I cannot name the files that fast. Oh did I mention that they are editable with the software that comes with the scanner? This thing is so far over the top of what I thought was possible I can't believe it. Scan it, edit the text and save faster than I ever thought possible. The software installation is a little confusing, but the KOFAX VRS seems to be a very powerful tool to bring out the details in less than optimal scans of degraded images and text. I could go on and on but if you need to copy double sided documents at a high rate of speed and have little space on your desktop I don't know what you could use that would be better than the Canon M160ii. This thing just flat rocks. It is small and fast. Want to edit the text in a PDF file? No problem. It does that. I just love this Canon ImageFORMULA dr-m160ii

I ordered the above product for around $55.00 - but I purchased it with the one click button which I will not do again. the product weighed about 1 pound and was shipped from California to my home in Honolulu and they charged me about $65.00 for shipping. I called them and complained and they said that was the charge. I sent a box of dishes as a xmas gift to maine and paid less than this.

The Canon Image Formula DR-M160 scanner has exceeded my expectations. The scanner is incredibly fast, the scan image quality is impressive and the software is intuitive. I bought the Canon scanner on the recommendation of a colleague. Initially, I was hesitant to purchase the unit because of its high price. I have no reservations now; this scanner puts my old units to shame and it makes my business more productive. If you are looking for a serious scanner to improve office productivity, then the Canon DR-M160 is a logical choice and and a good over all value.

I was using the Epson GS50 and it worked well for awhile and then it became very difficult to feed anything in to it and it became quite frustrating. I cleaned it as best I could and searched everywhere for a solution, but could find nothing. Someone recommended the Fujitsu fi 6130Z and I was set to buy it but the reviews on the Canon DRM 160 were compelling, most reviewers mentioned how good the rollers were and simplicity of installation and software. They were 100% right! The DRM 160 feeds multiple sheets of different size and quality so well and the software is way better than the Epson. I used to dread scanning things now I'm looking for things to scan! I highly recommend the Canon DRM 160 and if you value your time and sanity it is well worth the extra cost over the Epson GS50.
