Mandorlo di Sicilia on selvästi makea manteli‑ ja vaniljatuoksu, jossa on hieman sitrusta ja anista. Monet kuvaavat sitä mantelikekseiksi, marsipaaniksi tai kermaiseksi root beer ‑juomaksi, joten se on hyvin gourmand‑henkinen. For me, a clear 10/10 citrus scent. Those looking for high-quality and long-lasting citrus fragrances cannot overlook Acqua di Parma, especially not this one. The opening does not smell like cleaning products or lemonade, as is common with most citrus scents, but rather like a fresh green mandarin that has just been picked from the tree.

When you spray it on, it feels like you are walking through an orange plantation in Spain, and in a positive way. For me, the orange plays the biggest role here and stands out strongly, to the point that I even craved an orange right after the first spray. It’s truly incredible how differently we all perceive the scent. But a clear recommendation.

This one feels a bit heavy, especially compared to other Acqua di Parma offerings. Without looking at the notes, aside from maybe some freshness in the very beginning, I mostly get subdued leather vibes with hints of resin. No smokiness. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of leather (or stuff which reminds me of it) in most fragrances, so, unsurprisingly, I'm not drawn to this one either. But it's also not pungent or even particularly strong — just heavy, and somewhat boring. So while I don't like it, I also don't hate it. I could see this working nicely for some people, but for me personally it's a pass.

I ordered Mandarino di Sicilia in September last year after I smelled it just once in the perfume store, and I have to say,,, a real hit. From the 100ml bottle, only 20% is left as of now (end of July), which is quite rare for me considering the amount of fragrances I own. This ADP completely fascinates me anew and brings a huge smile to my face every time I spray it. It starts with a lemon, mandarin explosion and then transitions into minty, green,,, an absolute dream. The base with musk, cedar, and patchouli,,, the latter barely noticeable,, enhances the longevity,,, which I find really good for a citrus summer fragrance. I must say, ADP fundamentally convinces with its naturalness, and that’s why they perform so well in high temperatures. For everyone who loves fresh citrus fragrances,, a must,, it also receives great feedback in social settings. PS. I think the rating here is not bad,,, but it could be higher,,, higher than some XERJOFF summer fragrances.

Beautifully sweet yet light and refreshing summery almond scent, like eating an almond croissant on a sicilian beach. Just wish it lasted longer or came in EDP for stronger sillage/longevity. Would also highly recommend Zafferano from Acqua di Parma for a lightly sweet but stronger scent - still matching the summer vibes but if you want to leave a bigger impression.
