Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mirto di Panarea tunnetaan raikkaana välimerellisenä tuoksuna, jossa on sitrusta, myrttiä ja basilikaa. For me, a clear 10/10 citrus scent. Those looking for high-quality and long-lasting citrus fragrances cannot overlook Acqua di Parma, especially not this one. The opening does not smell like cleaning products or lemonade, as is common with most citrus scents, but rather like a fresh green mandarin that has just been picked from the tree.

In Acqua di Parma's Arancia di Capri, I can almost exclusively smell the orange. The mandarin, lemon, and petitgrain blend seamlessly with the orange, resulting in a truly citrus scent. However, for me, this has been executed in a completely authentic and high-quality way, as it feels very natural and not synthetic at all. The only thing one could criticize about the fragrance is the performance, but regularly reapplying after about 4 hours should solve the problem. Overall, it's a really extremely citrusy but beautiful scent for summer.
In Acqua di Parma's Arancia di Capri, I can almost exclusively smell the orange. The mandarin, lemon, and petitgrain blend seamlessly with the orange, resulting in a truly citrus scent. This one feels a bit heavy, especially compared to other Acqua di Parma offerings. Without looking at the notes, aside from maybe some freshness in the very beginning, I mostly get subdued leather vibes with hints of resin. No smokiness. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of leather (or stuff which reminds me of it) in most fragrances, so, unsurprisingly, I'm not drawn to this one either. But it's also not pungent or even particularly strong — just heavy, and somewhat boring. So while I don't like it, I also don't hate it. I could see this working nicely for some people, but for me personally it's a pass.

Bought after trying a sample and it is my new favourite, smells of citrus and spring, lasts well and I always get compliments when I'm wearing it. Expensive but definitely worth it and great delivery once again from John Lewis, arrived promptly and safely.
