Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza on hienostunut versio alkuperäisestä Coloniasta, ja se avautuu voimakkaalla sitrusräjähdyksellä, jossa on sitruunaa, appelsiinia, bergamottia, greippiä ja muita sitrusnuotteja. Sen jälkeen esiin tulevat kukkaiset ja vihreät vivahteet, jotka kuivuvat vetiverin, patsulin, valkoisen myskin ja meripihkan sävyttämään pohjaan. Monet käyttäjät kehuvat tuoksun monikäyttöisyyttä: se toimii erityisen hyvin kesällä ja lämpimässä säässä ja tuntuu samalla raikkaalta, puhtaalta ja tyylikkäältä. Eau de cologneksi Essenzalla on poikkeuksellisen hyvä kesto ja hillitty, mutta selkeä sillage. Koettu aineslaatu ja klassinen musta pullo mainitaan usein vahvuuksina. Toisaalta osa nuoremmista kokee tyylin hieman vanhahtavaksi tai muodolliseksi, ja arvioissa kerrotaan, että projektiokyky voi vaihdella ja tuoksu muuttuu kylmässä nopeasti latteammaksi ja vähemmän kipakaksi. Ostajien, jotka etsivät hyvin modernia, makeaa tai erittäin voimakasta tuoksua, kannattaa huomioida tämä.

This is a lovely unisex fragrance which I love having on hand for summer fragrances rotation. My husband also will wear this on the few occasions when he wears fragrance. It is one of the few "unisex" fragrances, for me anyway, is truly unisex. The sharp, almost chypre feel seems to grow stronger on the man, and not so much on the woman. I noticed another review liken this to 4711 and I can see this, however to my nose the acqua di parma has a stronger, more feminine note where the 4711 is simply blandly pleasant. (4711 is just out of the shower - acqua di parma is "I'm ready to go out and face the world!" ) A definite winner. Sophisticated simplicity. Four stars.

I'm torn. This is a a lovely fragrance, initially crisp & uplifting, then warm & soft but compared to other eau de colognes its expensive & has poor longevity. Even 4711 eau de Cologne (which I love) has similar but bolder notes is half the price and still lasts longer than Colonia Its a unisex fragrance and a friend described it as "sporty" However, I'm prepared to occasionally indulge in the expense of wearing this as I love this fragrance *update* I found that when I sprayed it on my wrist the fragrance lingered as it caught the sleeve of my clothes - this definitely makes it last - I've noticed the fragrance is still noticeable a few days later I've now tried the body cream, which is lovely but has only a slight fragrance and is very expensive for the price, so wouldn't buy again

As with all Aqcua di Parma fragrances this is a beautiful scent and one you are very unlikely to encounter others wearing.

Was panicking a little bit after last review , just received it perfect , smelt it in Harvey Nichols and it's just the same lovely .

I rather love this. A light (but not sheer), crisp summer scent with an oily base note that is probably the jasmine and rose; it's that kind of oily feel you get with real flower extracts. Not unlike Novaya Zarya Troinoi in herbal/oil feel, and definitely has it's roots in the same Gentleman's Scent genre (this was used to scent gentleman's handkerchiefs, apparently.) Lovely
