Acqua di Parma Oud & Spice on runsas, mausteinen-puinen tuoksu, joka rakentuu laadukkaan laosilaisen oud-öljyn ympärille. Bergamotin, vadelman, ruusun sekä kanelin, neilikan ja pinkin pippurin yhdistelmä luo ylellisen ja täyteläisen vaikutelman, jota monet kuvaavat koukuttavaksi ja elegantiksi. Tuoksu tunnetaan vahvasta alun tuoksupilvestä ja hyvästä kestosta, noin seitsemästä kahdeksaan tuntiin, joten yksi suihkaus riittää usein koko päiväksi tai illaksi. Samalla kyseessä on selvästi erottuva, nahkainen-oud profiili, josta kaikki eivät pidä ja joka vetoaa etenkin hieman varttuneempaan käyttäjäkuntaan. Hinta on selvästi korkeampi kuin monissa muissa hajuvesissä, mutta vastineeksi saa hienostuneen koostumuksen ja painavan, ylellisen pullon. Jos etsit voimakasta, lämmintä oud-tuoksua italialaisella eleganssilla, tämä on vahva vaihtoehto, mutta jos olet herkkä raskaille tai eläimellisille vivahteille, kannattaa testata ensin.

You can bash me out with critics, but... how can anybody like this BBQ fragrance in the world of perfumes? Buy in your local grocery store a smoke sauce spray for the chicken wings. I bet you won't tell the difference! C'mon, Acqua di Parma.... you can do it much better than this! If humanity really believes this is a good scent, we are cooked (with the chicken wings smoke sauce spray, per say)....

If you like Aqua's Oud creation which is unique in that Aqua's version is not sweet smelling, but has powerful long lasting tones with complex subtle changes throughout its daily wear. The Oud and spice has the definite Oud smell with an unmistakeable spice to make a difference, the smell, it lasts throughout the day breaking down subtlety into its complex components which are high end essential oils and botanicals. I am glad I have this in my Aqua collection, my only negative point being the spray top was loose on the bottle as I found when opening and I lost some of the precious scent (leakage) I bought from the John Lewis store in Cambridge, this was a manufacturer's issue which is disappointing for such a costly luxury.

Acqua di Parma Leather EdP is a clean, masculine leather fragrance. Regardless of the listed notes, I get immediate leather and essentially nothing else in the opening. The far dry down has a little woody scent appearing in addition to the leather. This is strictly a clean leather. Not a hint of band aid smell and does not come across as strongly animalic. Overall leather scent is smooth, clean and classy. Seems pretty versatile; would work for formal or casual wear, any time of day, and day of the year outside of very hot days. I have not tested any of the Tom Ford leathers, but will be doing so soon. Should be interesting to compare. Longevity good - about 8 hours for me with decent sillage and projection the first hour, becoming a closer scent bubble after that.
