What a surprise, as a lover of Polo to find such a beautiful retro fragrance. The opening is strongly woody-fresh, sweet, and green - reminiscent of a coniferous forest. There isn't much development in the scent, the drydown is primarily woody - mossy and reminds me of a dry coniferous forest in summer.

Not extroversion, but inner calm and serenity - and thus strength and sovereignty! Even the beginning conveys a distinctive statement with a slightly citrus note and juniper. But then comes bay leaf, musk, pine, and moss - all strong impulses that, however, do not come across as aggressive, but rather as tranquil. Thus, Agua Brava is an absolutely harmonious fragrance. I must say: very masculine, but in a positive sense: without pomp and bluster - but with power and silence. Like a great tree that offers protection and is not swayed by external influences… A wonderful fragrance that has existed for well over 50 years. That cannot be a coincidence!…

The top note, the dream par excellence. The scent always brings to mind a lovely vacation in the South, just like STS once sang about Greece. So, you can't go wrong with this purchase, not at all. The fragrance makes you feel like you're at the Mediterranean one moment and in the forests the next. In any case, it's a scent for men, and I think it should enchant women. Sexy, an evergreen. A must-have. Especially because of the retail prices for this good little potion.

The cologne has no staying power. Purchased Agua Brava from a outlet retailer before. On the outlet bought cologne you could smell faint traces of the cologne at the end of the day. This one has the original Agua Brava scent. But the scent disappears soon after applied--minutes soon. I understand the price is not expensive for the size but if it's more water than cologne then its not worth the money.
