Creed Aventus Cologne on raikkaampi, sitrus-puinen tulkinta tunnetusta Aventus-DNA:sta, painottaen mandariinia ja kirkkaita kesäsävyjä raskaamman savun ja ananaksen sijaan. Monet arvostelijat pitävät sitä erinomaisena valintana lämpimään säähän ja toimistoon, koska tuoksu on moderni, maskuliininen eikä tunkeileva. Suorituskykyä kehutaan usein: kesätyyliseksi tuoksuksi se kestää pitkään ja pysyy hyvin havaittavana, mikä tekee siitä houkuttelevan ylellisen allround-tuoksun päiväkäyttöön, treffeille ja työtilanteisiin. Samalla hinta on selvä heikkous; Creed veloittaa selvän luksuslisän, vaikka markkinoilla on monia halvempia vaihtoehtoja ja klooneja, jotka ovat monille käyttäjille “riittävän hyviä”. Osa harrastajista kaipaa myös alkuperäisen Aventuksen savuista syvyyttä ja vahvaa luonnetta ja kokee Aventus Colognen siksi vähemmän erottuvaksi. Tuoksu sopii parhaiten ostajille, jotka haluavat nimenomaan korkealaatuisen, pitkäkestoisen Aventus-kesäversion ja hyväksyvät korkean hinnan sekä rajallisen eksklusiivisuuden.

I have been using Creed Aventus for many years, and for a very long time it was my signature scent. Sometimes, though, I also felt like wearing something darker and somewhat more intense/spicier. Especially in winter. Aventus Absolu covers exactly that. To me, it is like a blend of Aventus and Dior Sauvage Elixir. I have always liked Dior Sauvage Elixir too, but it was never quite enough for me to buy a bottle of it. If you are looking for a masculine, somewhat darker and longer-lasting alternative to Aventus that you can also wear more easily in autumn/winter or when going out in the evening, then I can recommend this one to you. But do not expect monster sillage ;) PS: I have tested many dupes. Among others, Club de Nuit Precieux, Supremacy, and Montblanc Explorer Extreme. I liked the latter best, but none of them reaches the level of the original.

No complaints about Creed it's self , classic, elegant and long lasting. However, how John Lewis delivered it was atrocious. This is an expensive item, no bubble wrap, just a simple brown paper almost envelope it was delivered in. Which went the box was smashed to pieces. Really bad customer service.

Let's get the John Lewis experience out of the way, it is amazing as you know it. John Lewis is a brand that respect its customers. Now getting back to the perfume, what can I say, it blew me away when I fists spray it then it became a skin scent staring away. Couldn't believe my senses. I read reviews on Reddit about it, that it needs time to oxidise but I doubt that its performance will improve. I bought Coromandel a year ago and that perfume has an exceptional performance with at least 24 hours decent projection at a similar price. I will give it another couple of months and try it again. If it's the same I will put it for sale.
