Love Creed it's the best aftershave, the smell stays all day and you can even smell it for days after

Saved up and bought this as a 40th treat for myself, it smells heavenly but doesn't last more than 1hr. I am really upset as I thought Creed was very good, I am wondering if it's a bad batch or something?
