Dior Eau Sauvage Extrême on moderni, hieman syvempi versio klassisesta Eau Sauvage -tuoksusta, jossa on kirkasta sitrusta, laventelia, vihreitä ja saippuaisia vivahteita. Monet arvostelijat pitävät sen tyylistä, puhdasta ja kypsää luonnetta, minkä vuoksi se sopii hyvin toimistoon, juhliin ja arkikäyttöön. Tuoksua kuvataan usein monikäyttöiseksi ja useaan vuodenaikaan sopivaksi, ja esillepano on Diorille tyypillisen viimeistelty. Useat harrastajat kokevat kuitenkin, että nimi "Extrême" on hieman harhaanjohtava: tuoksu on hienostunut, mutta ei erityisen voimakas. Projektiota pidetään pehmeänä tai korkeintaan keskitasoisena, ja kesto on noin neljästä viiteen tuntia, mikä on tämän hintaluokan tuotteelle melko lyhyt. Myös hintaa pidetään korkeana verrattuna moniin muihin designer-tuoksuihin. Ostajalle, joka etsii hillittyä, klassista mutta silti modernia miesten tuoksua eikä vaadi maksimaalista tehoa, tämä voi silti olla erittäin elegantti valinta.

A swamp-green, dull wood in the beginning. Old rose. Its stalks and stems included. It's kind of chypre-like to me, at first. Damp, dark, earth, autumnal-smelling. Unsweetened heart notes. Rose, isn't overly loud. Floral opens up more later. Then light patchouli. An animal-like musk, that is dry and dusty. A little too linear, for me. Not awful. Not glorious.

Gorgeous floral with rose notes added. Different from the original Idylle and well worth the money. Very pleased with this beautiful fragrance.

Excellent scent, long lasting with big ''Aura'', bit still, on my skin has some kind of metal smell... Definitely depends of the skin type... It is not for blind buy, you should try it first...

This is not usually my style of fragrance (more into gourmands) but this just smells wonderful. The first word that comes to mind is 'dewey'.
