Right from the first spray, I noticed that Intenso goes exactly in the direction I like: warm yet somehow elegantly understated. The opening surprises me every time, slightly fresh but not in the typical citrus style. Instead, a soft herbal note comes through, immediately conveying a sense of calm and clarity. As the fragrance settles, it becomes really interesting for me. The tobacco note unfolds slowly and gives Intenso that warm, creamy depth that I particularly love on cold days. Additionally, there’s this unique hay and wood accord from moepel wood that makes the scent soft yet distinct. It smells to me like self-confidence, but without being showy, more like a quiet strength. I was surprised by how pleasantly wearable Intenso is in everyday life. I can spray it on in the morning and have that cozy-warm feeling all day long, without the scent ever becoming intrusive. It is subtle enough for the office, but warm and sensual enough for the evening.

The fruity light cherry scent is truly well done by Dolce Gabbana. The perfect everyday summer fragrance for me. The cherry is prominent, and when accompanied by a citrus note, the fragrance feels much lighter and more refreshing. The best sweet choice for summer, without feeling too sweet and sticky through the scent.
