Aqua di Giò Profondo does exactly what it was created for. It is polished, polished enough for the office, polished enough for the 9 AM meeting, and discreet enough not to disturb anyone. A fragrance that fits perfectly into the world of shirts, Outlook calendars, and coffee mugs. And that is exactly what it does excellently. What it lacks, however, is what makes the original Acqua di Giò Pour Homme so special to me: that feeling of freedom. The salty sea breeze, the sun on the skin, the thought of vacation and endless coastlines. Profondo, on the other hand, feels more controlled. Cooler. More modern. Almost as if the sea has vanished behind a glass facade. It is not a bad scent - on the contrary. It fulfills its purpose flawlessly. But while the original sends me to the sea, Profondo places me at the desk.

Acqua di Giò Profondo EDP convinced me from the very beginning. For me, the fragrance strikes the perfect balance between freshness, aquatic notes, and a subtle fruitiness. Nothing feels too overpowering or artificial. The opening is pleasantly fresh and invigorating, accompanied by a marine note that immediately reminds me of clean sea air. Over time, a slightly fruity nuance emerges, giving the fragrance a modern touch without becoming too sweet. It is precisely this combination that makes it so versatile for me. I truly believe it fits perfectly in spring and summer, no matter the occasion... it always makes a good impression. The longevity, however, is quite limited in my opinion. Compared to ADG Profumo, it has just the bit more freshness and less spiciness that I was looking for.

Excellent cologne! Pretty long lasting, still miss the Profumo!!! Need to bring that back!
