Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme on hyvin kuiva, nahkainen miesten tuoksu, jossa on paljon vetiveriä ja puunuotteja, ja joka poikkeaa selvästi tyypillisistä makeista tai raikkaista designer-tuoksuista. Monet harrastajat kehuvat sen omaperäisyyttä ja niche-henkistä luonnetta, mutta korostavat myös, että tuoksu on varsin haastava ja jakaa mielipiteitä. Koostumus on melko lineaarinen, eli se mitä haistat alussa, pysyy pitkälti samana aina drydowniin asti. Kestoa pidetään yleensä hyvänä, kun taas osa käyttäjistä kokee projektion ja sillage’n vain keskitasoisiksi hintaan nähden. Siksi tuoksu sopii parhaiten kokeneille käyttäjille, jotka pitävät tummista nahkatuoksuista, etenkin syksyllä ja talvella. Jos etsit turvallista, kehuja keräävää tai toimistoon sopivaa arkituoksua, tätä kannattaa testata huolellisesti etukäteen.

The scent has a full blast of leather with a hint of wood. For the cold winter months, it is a very, very good companion. The performance surprised me positively. However, it is not made for every nose, so I recommend testing it first or ordering a small sample. I will definitely reorder.

A quieter, creamier, more complex version of Gucci Pour Homme I with the pencil shaving note turned down, and a soft but potent leather accord added. Where the dry down of GPH I is unchanging and linear, Guilty Absolute evolves slowly to reveal its patchouli and vetiver heart while never dropping the aromatic woods and leather. The only con? Not a strong projector but for me at least, this is more desirable than the overpriced GPH I. Or II. Too bad Gucci discontinues the best things they put out.
