Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme on hyvin erottuva nahkatuoksu, jossa on kuiva, savuinen ja lähes lääkkeenomainen alku. Monet harrastajat kehuvat sen omaperäisyyttä ja niche-tyylistä luonnetta, minkä ansiosta se poikkeaa selvästi useimmista raikkaista tai makeista designer-tuoksuista. Tuoksu on melko lineaarinen, mutta sen kesto on hyvä–vahva ja se pysyy pitkään iholla ja vaatteissa, mikä miellyttää voimakkaiden nahkatuoksujen ystäviä. Samalla kyseessä on selkeä love-it-or-hate-it-tuoksu: nahan, vetiverin ja lähes sairaala- tai viskimäisen vivahteen yhdistelmä voi olla joillekin liian raju tai karkea. Sitä pidetään usein vähän monikäyttöisenä ja vähemmän sopivana toimistoon, kuumiin päiviin tai hyvin juhlaviin tilanteisiin. Tuoksu on suunnattu lähinnä kokeneelle, hieman varttuneemmalle yleisölle, joka etsii tietoisesti rohkeaa, maskuliinista statement-tuoksua ja jonka kannattaa testata se iholla ennen ostoa.

A quieter, creamier, more complex version of Gucci Pour Homme I with the pencil shaving note turned down, and a soft but potent leather accord added. Where the dry down of GPH I is unchanging and linear, Guilty Absolute evolves slowly to reveal its patchouli and vetiver heart while never dropping the aromatic woods and leather. The only con? Not a strong projector but for me at least, this is more desirable than the overpriced GPH I. Or II. Too bad Gucci discontinues the best things they put out.
