Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum tunnetaan lämpimästä mantelista, kirsikasta, tonkapavusta, vaniljasta sekä pehmeistä puu- ja nahkasävyistä. Monet käyttäjät ja arvostelijat kehuvat tuoksua erittäin helposti käytettäväksi, mukavaksi ja hyväksi signatuurituoksuksi, etenkin syksyyn, talveen ja iltakäyttöön. Hinta–laatu-suhdetta pidetään usein hyvänä suuren designer-talon tuoksuksi. Samalla esiintyy toistuvaa kritiikkiä: tuoksu voi olla joillekin liian makea ja gourmand, varsinkin alussa, ja projektio heikkenee muutaman tunnin jälkeen niin, että tuoksu muuttuu intiimimmäksi. Usein mainitaan myös, ettei se ole kovin innovatiivinen, vaan pikemminkin turvallinen, hyvin rakennettu makea miestuoksu. Jos pidät lämpimistä manteli- ja kirsikka-aksepteista pehmeällä, kermaisella pohjalla, tämä voi olla erittäin mieluisa, mutta jos etsit hyvin raikasta tai erityisen ainutlaatuista tuoksua, kannattaa harkita muita vaihtoehtoja.

Sweetly citrusy, with a hint of honey. Then a bit of spiciness comes in, slightly vanillic. Quite a pleasant scent, remaining fresh even after a few minutes. After that, not much seems to happen anymore. Overall quite decent, nothing groundbreaking or innovative. For an EdT, it is of fairly high quality and the projection and longevity are absolutely fine. It vaguely reminds one of Devotion and can therefore be worn by both men and women. Suitable for day and night, in summer, spring, autumn, and probably also winter... for any occasion and basically also in the office.

L’Homme Idéal is for me a clean, slightly sweet-woody fragrance with this almond note that stands out immediately. At first, it is rather fresh and well-groomed, almost reserved. Over time, it becomes warmer and a bit sweeter. Leather and rose. This almond note remains present throughout and gives it a slightly creamy, pleasant character. For me, it's a simple everyday scent that doesn't require much planning. Just apply it and it fits almost always, without being too much. Loved by everyone around!

Although it has a slight masculine tendency, it is also easily wearable as a unisex fragrance. Any man who has no issue with naturally sweet scents can buy this fragrance without hesitation. In my opinion, the name "L'Homme Ideal" does not fit the scent at all, but that does not affect my rating.

L’Homme Idéal - for me, one of the most beautiful men's fragrances for the colder days. I always have a slight cola note in my mind, which totally appeals to me, probably because of the tonka bean. The scent feels soft, a bit cuddly, and yet beautifully masculine. I have no idea why, but for me, it has the color light gray. Warm, calm, elegant. It's the kind of fragrance a man wears who knows who he is - not insecure, just naturally confident. And honestly, it brings compliments. The price-performance ratio is really good.
