Drakkar Intense really starts off like a stronger, even better version of the classic Drakkar Noir. Spicy, beautiful fougere notes in the top note. However, I do not perceive absinthe. Unfortunately, as it develops, the scent becomes sweeter, more amber-like, and somehow indefinable. I will stick with the brilliant classic Drakkar Noir.
