Jacques Bogart pour Homme on erittäin edullinen miesten tuoksu voimakkaalla, makealla tupakka- ja tonkka-tuoksulla, joka kestää pitkään. Sillage ja projektiivisuus ovat erinomaiset, ja se pysyy vaatteissa päivien ajan. Hintaan nähden laatu on yllättävän hyvä, ja se sopii hyvin iltaan, syksyyn ja talveen. Valitettavasti tuoksu voi olla jollekin liian synteettinen tai liian raskas, erityisesti makeat, kukkaiset notit. Se ei myöskään sovellu muodollisiin tai vakaviin liiketilanteisiin. Voimakkaiden, makeiden, retro-tyylisten tuoksujen faneille hyvällä hinta-laatusuhteella tämä on erinomainen valinta, mutta yliannostusta tulisi välttää.

It is lavender and tonka, fresh and sweet, Klassy. My bottle is from 2020, and it does not match the older descriptions that describe it as an overpowering, almost dangerous powerhouse, with a lot of cherry tobacco. I believe it has been reformulated at some point (around 2014?) and has become somewhat easier to wear. It indeed has a strong longevity of about 10/12 hours, but it is never intrusive and the sillage is moderate (I use it without any problems as a work scent). I also don’t get any of that cherry tobacco vibe that many mention. For me, it is a beautiful lavender scent, with medium sweetness, and in the dry down, it becomes pleasantly spicy. For a price of around 15 euros, it is a successful addition to any collection. I also recommend layering it with a spritz of Joop Homme EdP, which adds a touch of cinnamon that perfectly complements it.

I'm typically not a fan of lavender and tonka combinations as they often come off as harsh and synthetic, and unfortunately, this is the case with this fragrance. The opening can be quite off-putting, but thankfully, the drydown is decent. While I appreciate the effort to create a lavender-based scent, the execution falls short for me. However, if you're a fan of lavender and tonka, it might be worth sampling to see if it works better for you.

Fantastic warm floral. Some say cherry tobacco but I get more of a dark honey and almond. On the masculine side of unisex imo. Best value per dollar of any cologne in my collection.
