Jaguar Classic Era Eau de Toilette -tuoksu miehille 100 ml

I haven’t stopped smelling my arm since I’ve sprayed and sprayed and sprayed again. There is something so nostalgic to this fragrance that could easily bring tears to the eyes. It reminds me distinctly of buttermints, the aromatic opening and creamy finishing yet keeps the lingering mint (or lavender adjacent scent) through the entire experience. It’s sweet, calming and dries into something you want to sleep in forever. I am someone who loves lavender, I wear pure oil and layer with vanilla scents so to have it captured beautifully in one bottle is a gift. This is a masterpiece. I will say, I don’t get any rice (which would be beautiful here) and without having single note experience with rice bran to compare—I’d still call it perfection.

Jaguar for Men Ultimate Power EdT starts with the scent of lemon, ginger and mint. Lemon is dominant. After 10 minutes the EdT becomes a skin scent. There is lemon and some warmth in the background. After 15 minutes, lemon, mint and a warm note get balanced over time. However, after 25 minutes the lemon has gone. After 30 minutes the skin scent is very nice. There is mint and wood in equal measure and the scent is not remarkably sweet. After 50 minutes the skin scent becomes weaker and after 2 hours and 30 minutes almost all scent has disappeared. Jaguar for Men Ultimate Power EdT demonstrates that a men's perfume for the summer can be formulated with a mint theme. However, the current formula is so weak that the product must be qualified as a swindle.

...with the aftershave from the legendary "Jaguar for Men (Eau de Toilette) | Jaguar," you really can't go wrong. This is one of the few "after shaves" that I truly find successful in terms of scent. I've enjoyed using it repeatedly since my youth, and the longevity as well as the sillage are relatively good for a shaving water. The top note offers an exciting combination of fruit, herbs, and flowers. Here, bergamot, citrus fruits, oranges, basil, and thyme stand out prominently. In the heart note, there are resinous hints like fir and cedar. I also detect garden cloves and a green-earthy note that vaguely resembles patchouli. The base is slightly leathery with notes of tobacco and amber. Nostalgic feelings arise here - I simply enjoy this aftershave!

I like to compare the Jaguar with Eros. At least in the top notes, I do smell significant similarities. In the upcoming summer, it’s also a good alternative to the not-so-pleasant minty Aventus. Great price/performance ratio.
