John Varvatos Artisan on kevyt, raikas tuoksu, jossa korostuvat appelsiininkukka ja sitrus sekä vihreät ja yrttiset vivahteet. Arvostelijat kuvaavat sitä virkistäväksi ja puhtaaksi, ja se sopii hyvin kevääseen ja kesään, etenkin päivä- ja toimistokäyttöön, koska tuoksuvana on hillitty. Tuoksua kiitetään usein miellyttävästä alusta ja siitä, ettei se ole liian makea tai hallitseva, joten myös jotkut naiset käyttävät sitä. Useat lähteet kertovat kuitenkin, että kesto vaihtelee paljon: joillakin tuoksu tuntuu vain kolme–kuusi tuntia ja projektiokin on pehmeä, mikä voi olla pettymys hintaan nähden. Jos pidät raskaista, puisista tai hyvin maskuliinisista tuoksuista, Artisan voi tuntua liian kevyeltä ja kukkaiselta, mutta ostajille, jotka etsivät raikasta, huomaamatonta appelsiininkukkatuoksua erottuvassa punotussa pullossa, se on houkutteleva vaihtoehto.

Used to love this, but was always disappointed at how long it lasted on my skin. Still love the smell, but Montblanc Explorer is my go to fragrance nowadays

Love this stuff. I love all of Varvatos collection. Very nice clean, fresh, soapy scent and smells amazing with great longevity on the skin. I would buy this again and recommend for a blind buy for sure. The white bottle PURE is another great one from this line.

One of my all time favorite scents! It has a fantastic summer time aura to it. I get a mix of ginger citrus and surprisingly to me honeysuckle. I have not read another review that compares this fragrance to honeysuckle, but I promise it is undeniable. I definitely think the performance is lacking but it is unique and can be recognized immediately. Without a doubt a must have signature scent.
