Encre Noire on hienostunut, pimeä puumainen tuoksu vuodelta 2006, joka erottuu ainutlaatuisella sateisella metsämaisella luonteella. Tuoksu avautuu sypressi- ja vetiverinuoteilla, kehittyy lämpimiin kashmir-puun ja musk-pohjasäveisiin. Vaikka sillä on niche-laatu, se tarjoaa uskomattoman arvon rahalle. Käyttäjät arvostavat pitkäkestoista suorituskykyä ja hienostunutta koostumusta, mutta varoittavat, että tämä ei ole kevyt, iloinen tuoksu - se vaatii kypsyyttä ja itseluottamusta käyttöön. Se on ihanteellinen miehille, jotka nauttivat pimeistä, mystisistä tuoksuista.

As I am a fan of the classic version of this fragrance (Lalique Encre Noir), which I believe is best suited for gray, rainy weather, I wanted to try the lighter, "sportier" variant for sunny summer days. Unfortunately, the scent did not develop for the better after a short time and began to strongly remind me of the smell of sour pickles. The positives definitely include the very good longevity and the quite noticeable sillage. However, the downside for my personal perception is this persistent association with pickles... What a shame...

A bit of an acquired taste.. But then it smells good. I find it quite sporty.. It reminds me a bit of D. Homme sport 2008. I find the longevity average to good.. Almost 10 hours when worn on clothes. It is lightly sporty but at the same time mysterious and woody. Sillage is rather unconvincing.

It is 1919. Thomas Shelby walks through England with the Peaky Blinders. He smells mysteriously earthy and smoky with a hint of spice. He walks confidently through England. As always, he is dressed very darkly, which also fits the weather very well as the sky is dark and overcast. I think this perfume fits perfectly with Thomas Shelby or someone who wants to smell like him.

Smells just like one imagines a coniferous forest on a late spring day. It rained yesterday, today the sun is shining, and the warm air, filled with Encre Noire Sport, rises up. Sillage is okay for an EdT, 3-5 hours are definitely achievable. It becomes woodier over the course of the scent, but remains quite fresh the whole time. The liquid is darkly colored, heavy sprayers should perhaps be a bit careful with white shirts. The cap of the bottle sits very loosely on the spray head, it doesn’t click into place. When on the go, one has to be a bit careful, possibly tape it down.
