Mandarina Duck Pure Black on makea, gourmand-tyylinen miesten tuoksu, jossa on raikas sitrusavaus ja sen jälkeen kermainen tonkapavun, vaniljan ja pehmeiden kukkien yhdistelmä. Monet arvostelijat kuvaavat sitä miellyttäväksi ja helposti käytettäväksi tuoksuksi, jonka lämmin, hieman mausteinen luonne muistuttaa suosittuja designer-tuoksuja, mutta huomattavasti halvemmalla hinnalla. Siksi hinta-laatusuhdetta pidetään usein vahvana puolena. Heikkoutena on suorituskyky: useat lähteet mainitsevat vain keskitasoisen projektion ja noin neljän–viiden tunnin keston, minkä jälkeen iholle jää lähinnä pehmeä vaniljapohja. Myös pullon ja löysän korkin halpa tuntuma saa toistuvaa kritiikkiä. Osa harrastajista kokee, että tuoksusta puuttuu syvyyttä eikä se yllä kalliimpien tonka- tai vaniljatuoksujen tasolle. Ostajille, jotka etsivät edullista, makeaa ilta- tai arkituoksua eivätkä vaadi huipputason kestoa, se on silti houkutteleva vaihtoehto.

Pure Black - always with me, always in the glove compartment. In my opinion, it's a perfect all-rounder that works almost anytime. The sweet opening initially reminds one of One Million, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Subsequently, the vanilla notes and tonka bean unfold more and more. The orange is also noticeable, but in my opinion, not too much. The sad part about it, however, is unfortunately the longevity. After about 3-4 hours, the scent "gives up" and you can hardly smell it anymore. All in all, I would say that the price/performance ratio is definitely right here. €30 for 100ml is more than fair.

This was a a blind buy and I got lucky; now it’s not a bad scent it’s not a great one either. Its a calm woodsy clean thing it’s not something I would reach for every day but I’d reach for it if I want something else

This stuff is an amazing gall fragrance. I would also wear it in summer. Great all around smell and lasts long and great projection.

Purchased because it's a Nathalie Lorson fragrance and anything she does is worth buying. It has a very soft vanilla smell with a warm, creamy base and a number of sweet, citrusy notes. It's more a skin scent as it doesn't project that far and longevity is fairly low. It comes across as a very clean and fresh smell with just enough sweetness to pull it all together Nothing ground breaking, it's just a pleasant fragrance.
