This is a nice aromatic man's smell. An aquatic fougere that was before it's time. I don't care if it ain't expensive, it's good for all ages though better for fellas over 25, and all seasons. Just don't overspray, especially if it's over 90F. This stuff can be loud. Lasts pretty long too (8hrs minimum for me). I've always had a bottle of it since I found it in my early 20s. It's got the Tangerine opening with the ever present juniper berries, a healthy dose of lavender and spices then it gets musky and woody. It always has a subtle aquatic shower gel feel under that fougere. Ull smell like U cared to take a shower. The prototype blue fragrance. The note listing is wrong though. The top notes have Tangerine, pineapple, and juniper berries. There's no lemon in it at all. Mids missing freesia, though the rest are correct, and the base is missing the musk and sandalwood. It says it on Perry Ellis' site.

Just bought this one at a discount ( thankfully). I bought it because it had a description of green notes with melon. But, perhaps it’s the blue rose note that I’m taking in, that I really don’t care for. My nose and stomach do not take well to the overpowering scent of rose. I’d say this scent is certainly for an older generation, like your Grandmother.

The top notes of this are fantastic. If it stayed that way throughout it'd be a favorite of mine. But pretty quickly something comes out that's just off. I wonder if it might be the sage note. Not sure, but it's very unfortunate.
