The opening of the fragrance is incredibly sharp and overwhelming. It is by far the most breathtaking (literally) scent I have ever had. The first impression initially resembles bathroom cleaning products. One immediately tends to turn away from this scent. The key to success is patience. Let it rest for 30-40 minutes and endure the harsh initial smell of lemon and bathroom cleaner. A beautiful and fascinatingly pleasant "drydown" unfolds with aromatic notes that evoke associations with a lovely flower meadow. It is worth it. Please keep in mind: The scent is very intense - despite being an EDT. It is the strongest EDT I know. But only with patience does it become beautiful. Definitely do not buy blind! Scent: 7/10 Sillage: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10

It starts with a sweet fruity and slightly citrus note (I always get a bit of water in my mouth) nestled on a slightly animalistic Oud note. After 20 minutes on the skin, it becomes spicy-floral for me (typical rose-Oud combination), with the Oud note remaining present in the background as a base. Later, the floral notes also fade away, leaving a spicy base of musk, Oud, and sweet tonka. The scent progression is indeed structured as the fragrance pyramid suggests; I usually struggle to describe scent notes and their progression, but here it was very easy for me. I always wonder why I use this fragrance so rarely, probably because it was so affordable? Or because I always first think that it’s a (real?) Oud bomb? For me, it is an affordable niche fragrance with good quality.
