...and with that, almost everything has been said. As promising as the individual fragrance notes sound. In the opening, I immediately had the Gin Tonic association. A bitter freshness and a slightly synthetic spiciness spread out. However, in the drydown, all of this merges into a single soapy mass. I find the longevity and especially the sillage to be significantly more pronounced than the average rating here suggests.

Yes, I know you. Yes, I know. Yes, I had you. Yes, I neglected you. I’M SORRY. You tormented me back then; I wanted to love you but couldn’t. To me, you are a powdery, sharp fellow. You don’t make it easy for me to smell good. You buzz around me, take away my breath. You repel me, catch me, and yet - what is it? I just can’t get past this aldehydic scent burst. You keep me away from the flowers; you have this unique combination, and yet it doesn’t work for me. Oh, I could just… It takes YEARS for the base note to reach me, and then it only has remnants left. What am I supposed to do? This complex, very multi-layered, and incredibly dense fragrance is not made for me. I’ve definitely tried it countless times and always come to the same conclusion: it doesn’t suit me, not before and not now. I’m so sorry because it is truly an incredibly well-made fragrance, and I understand everyone who loves it. Only "he" unfortunately doesn’t understand me.
