4711 Original Eau de Cologne tunnetaan raikkaasta sitrus- ja nerolituoksusta, jota monet pitävät puhtaana, kevyenä ja virkistävänä. Se on unisex ja sitä käytetään usein suihkun, urheilun tai helteisen päivän jälkeen nopeana raikastuksena ennemmin kuin varsinaisena parfyymina. Hinta on matala ja suuret pullot houkuttelevat suihkuttamaan reilusti. Suurin miinus on kuitenkin erittäin heikko kesto ja hento hajujälki; useiden lähteiden mukaan tuoksu on lähes poissa 30–120 minuutin jälkeen, joten sitä täytyy lisätä usein. Osa kokee tyylin myös vanhanaikaiseksi ja enemmän klassisen aftershaven kaltaiseksi. Jos etsit pitkäkestoista, sensuellia tai hyvin modernia tuoksua, tämä ei ole paras valinta, mutta halpana, kevyenä klassikkoraikastuksena 4711 on houkutteleva.

This is a classic scent which I've been used to in my childhood for a long time, it smells great in the summer and feels very refreshing. It has a short lifespan though and the scent will vanish within 20 minutes.

Not quite a long lasting as I would like. But, I suppose that "subtle" has it's place :)

I haven't used 4711 for almost 30 years. On a whim, I recently decided to give it a try. After all this time, 4711 still has the same clear, crisp, citrus scent that feels refreshing after shaving. And as an added bonus, it brought back many pleasant memories from my youth. And there you have it...my two scents.
