I ordered it as a gift for my husband, and he loved it. If you're a fan of oud perfumes, you'll love this one too; it's wonderful! I loved it as well. I'd also like to thank John Lewis for their excellent service.

Oud can be a strange beast. Either animalistic/stable- like or a rich, enveloping scent that stops you in your tracks. Gucci Intense Oud treads a fine line between the two in a masterful way. It is instantly recognisable - a warm, inviting fragrance that envelops you. For me this is unisex but it leans distinctly masculine with the heavy oud/leather notes. It's strong, projects well and leaves a wonderful sillage. Not overwhelming but it will get you noticed. A perfect evening out type of fragrance, or for a special occasion. When my nephew visits, he usually seeks this one from my collection to wear as he also loves how it makes you feel and he has experienced the same positive feedback as I have - so it really is a fragrance for all ages. It smells niche at a designer price. A real hidden gem.
