Guerlain L'Homme Ideal L'Intense tunnetaan lämpimänä, mausteisena ja hieman savuisena tuoksuna, jossa on chiliä, mausteita, tonkapapua, vaniljaa ja nahkaa. Monet pitävät sen syvästä, sensuellista luonteesta ja käyttävät sitä erityisesti viileinä syys- ja talvi-iltoina tai intiimeissä tilanteissa.[1][7][9] Kestoa pidetään yleensä hyvänä, noin 7–9 tuntia, mutta muutaman tunnin jälkeen tuoksu jää lähelle ihoa.[1][7] Toistuva kritiikki koskee nimeä ”Intense”, sillä moni kokee, ettei teho ja projisointi vastaa odotuksia.[1][3][7] Terävä, mausteinen avaus chilillä ja tonkalla ei myöskään miellytä kaikkia; osa kokee sen hieman epätasapainoisena tai tunkkaisena.[1][7] Lisäksi tuoksu ei ole paras valinta toimistoon, kuumiin päiviin tai hyvin rentoihin tilanteisiin, joten käyttötilanteet ovat rajallisemmat.[1][7]

... diamond. Yes and no, I am wearing a diamond from the fragrance world of Guerlain. The master of gentleman scents. When applying this fragrance, the first thing that hits the nose is an almond spiced with a sharp red chili. This remains constant, and alongside it, roses and a leather accord join in. Finally, the vanilla aroma adds a sweetness. Patchouli darkens this perfume. The smoky notes make the scent mysterious. A wonderfully masculine sweet fragrance. The longevity and sillage are good. The fragrance is suitable for around 25 years and up. For younger guys, I could imagine it being too heavy. On not-so-warm days, this scent is simply wonderful for the office, a meeting, or even for leisure time, right up to a date or the club. Anyone who enjoys a sharp almond scent could find joy in this.

This is an extremely underrated masterpiece of a fragrance. I have a large collection of fragrances by the worlds best brands but none of them get near this. It is absolutely amazing and something I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
