JOOP! All About Eve, EdP 40ml

Fruity but not sweet fruity, refreshing fruity, but also not like teenage fruity perfumes that are sweet. It lacks any dough-y lactonic aspects for it to be described as dessert-like. It's a gorgeous apple vanilla scent with the right touch of cinnamon and woods. It's a perfectly sweet gourmand, yet the bright green apple lends it a particular freshness. The vanilla is not raw, grounded, spicy, dry or powdery but buttery, innocent, sweet, a bit tart and childlike and has an airy quality to it. Cedar grounds this and prevents it becoming tooth-achingly-sugary-syrupy sweet.

I love any fragrance with green or red apples in it All about Eve by Joop is definitely right up there with Be delicious. Both smell identical but this one was within my budget range so I'm satisfied with my choice.

This is an unusual title for a very lovely perfume, but I love it. It has that warm and comforting Christmas smell that you can't deny whenever the holidays roll around. This would definitely make a wonderful gift for anyone or better yet, someone with the name Eve.
