Lalique Amethyst on selvästi hedelmä-kukkainen tuoksu, jossa on paljon tummia marjoja, kuten mustaherukkaa, karhunvatukkaa ja metsämaria, sekä ruusua, pionia ja ylang-ylangia. Pohjalla on myskiä, kevyitä puunuotteja ja hieman vaniljaa. Tuoksua kuvataan usein mehukkaaksi marjasekoitukseksi, joka ei muutu tahmean makeaksi, vaan pysyy raikkaana ja hieman mausteisena. Siksi se on sekä sensuelli että arkeen sopiva. Kesto ja tuoksun kantavuus koetaan yleisesti hyvinä, useita tunteja iholla. Mustaherukan ja karhunvatukan pitää kuitenkin miellyttää, sillä ne tuntuvat selvästi vielä kuivatuoksussa. Pippuri ja lilja voivat tehdä tuoksusta joillekin hieman terävän tai mausteisen, ja tummat marjat saavat sen tuntumaan vähemmän sopivalta niille, jotka haluavat vain hyvin kevyitä tai raikkaita tuoksuja. Marjaisista, aikuismaisista hedelmä-kukkaistuoksuista pitäville tämä on kuitenkin kiinnostava ja usein aliarvostettu vaihtoehto.

This perfume is great! I bought 2, waiting for the sale to get a third. It smells delicious with plum notes (lots of compliments from men on that if that's something you're looking for in a perfume). It lasts forever too but not in a chemically-strong way. I had it on when I went to the gym and it stayed as strong and unchanged even after I was done working out. Very classy and fancy smelling!

I am very disappointed in this particular product. I loved the original "Amythyst," but this one is nothing like the original.

Superb for fresh berry scent lovers in my view. This reminds me of blackcurrant picking as a child on a warm summer early evening. I used to crush a blackcurrant leaf to smell the fresh aroma of it in my hands whilst picking the fruit. This perfume has that in it too. Often get complimented when wearing this & people ask what it is. I much prefer this to the eclat version.
