Santal Blanc Collection Extraordinaire -sarjasta rakentuu kermaisen viikunan ja santelipuun ympärille, taustalla myskiä, tonkapapua ja hieman orvokkia. Monet arvostelijat kehuvat tuoksua elegantiksi, hienostuneeksi ja melko minimalistiseksi, pehmeällä ihomaisella drydownilla, joka muistuttaa puhtaita, maitomaisia puusävyjä. Maitomaisen viikunan ja kermaisen santelipuun yhdistelmää kuvataan usein ainutlaatuiseksi ja lohdulliseksi, ja unisex-luonne tekee siitä toimivan sekä miehillä että naisilla, rennosta käytöstä juhlavampiin tilanteisiin. Kesto arvioidaan yleensä hyväksi tai keskimääräistä paremmaksi: tuoksu pysyy iholla pitkään, mutta muuttuu muutaman tunnin jälkeen intiimimmäksi, ympäröiväksi hunnuksi eikä kovaksi tuoksupilveksi. Useat lähteet mainitsevat kuitenkin, että avaus voi joidenkin nenissä tuntua hieman oudolta, happamalta tai yrttiseltä ennen kuin kermainen vaihe alkaa. Jos et pidä viikunasta tai maitomaisen kermaisista santelipuutuoksuista, tämä akordi voi tuntua nopeasti liialliselta. Hinta on selvästi korkeampi kuin tavallisissa markettituoksuissa, joten se sopii parhaiten ostajille, jotka etsivät juuri tätä pehmeää, kermaista viikuna–santelipuu-profiilia.

One of my favorite scents, it's a hard find. Van Cleef & Arpels is above the standard when it comes to fragrances. So fresh and clean and I always receive compliments when I walk past someone.

After testing this in-store, several times, I decided to buy myself a bottle from Escentual because it was offered at the best price, and I have been happy with the service received in the past. The scent is very lovely, creamy, subtle, elegant, stays close to my skin and lasts long... I can still smell it on me the following day.

This is actually very nice! It's sweetish and a little bit subtly-synth-woody, with a hint of citruses, and yet very soft. I don't smell any fig, but maybe my nose registers it - together with the violets - as that softness. The woods are very light - blanc indeed. I've seen it described as smelling of cucumbers a bit and laughed at it, but I kinda see where they were coming from.
