It has three settings, one on full 360degree, two 180 degree and a spot light on the end. Really useful light

brilliant for winter outdoor work on site and the allotment, 2 modes for floodlight work to cover a good area for working. The spot light is also great for walking on paths in the dark. Best feature is it will run on basically flat batteries, so once they are done in the drill they will still have 20 mins of light

I'm a plumber and loved this tool. super functional and loved the hook lantern feature. unfortunately, the clicker stopped working at about 6 months. having to go through makita to see if they will replace. review could improve based on how difficult warranty replacement is..

Have had this light for a couple months, and its super handy. Whether Ive been just locking up the chickens in the evening or collecting maple sap after dark, this light simplifies everything since we previously used a propane lantern. Even better, I attached a parachord rifle sling with HK mash hooks to it and Ill just wear it back to the woods with the directional lantern mode on. Freakin great purchase, especially if you already have a spare battery or two. I havent banged it around or anything though since Im pretty careful with my power tools, so Im not sure how itd go getting bashed around.
